Timelines are increasing – Due to the high demand, home renovations are being scheduled weeks and even months in the future. Additionally, contractors are impacted by local COVID-19 restrictions, such as caps on the number of workers per site, which can further delay projects.

Supply chains are affected – The production of many materials used in home renovations has been affected by the COVID-19 pandemic. Lumber shortages have been reported across the country, causing many projects to stall while waiting for supplies.
